Aim and Scope

The Journal of Economics and Management is an internationally refereed journal, established in

2004, which aims to publish innovative and high quality academic research papers in economics and
quantitative management, in a timely and efficient manner. The journal is published twice a year and
was created in response to the growing need to more efficiently chronicle and disseminate quality

scholastic ideas and research results in the academic community, without the undue delay commonly
encountered in the journal review process. The journal seeks to publish concise articles that contribute

real insight or innovation into current research areas in economics and quantitative-oriented
management. Theoretical and empirical contributions to these areas as well as selective surveys of

important topics written by well-established scholars are welcomed. Book reviews of high quality
(edited but not refereed) will be published occasionally. Papers using quantitative methods are
encouraged. An initial editorial decision is expected within three months of receiving manuscripts.
